Dallas – Incumbent Dallas school trustee Edwin Flores has won his Dallas School Board seat outright. Two other races now head for a runoff. KERA's Bill Zeeble has more.

District One Dallas school board member Edwin Flores eeked out a re-election victory over nearest competitor Kyle Renard, with barely more than 51 percent of the vote. The field held four candidates. In district 3, incumbent trustee Leigh Ann Ellis will face Bruce Parrott in a runoff. Ellis defeated Parrott's wife Lois three years ago for that seat. And in District 9, where trustee Ron Price decided not to run again, Bernadette Nutall received 45 percent of the vote, to Sally Cain's 33 percent. They're in a runoff . The runoff election is Tuesday, December 8th. Bill Zeeble KERA news.
