A Dallas company that owns and manages nine high-rise office buildings is reviewing security this week after the foiled bombing of a downtown skyscraper last Thursday. KERA's BJ Austin reports.
Kristen Schor, with the Gaedeke Group, says they have buildings in Uptown, near the High Five, and in the Mid-Cities. She says after the bombing attempt on Fountain Place downtown, they are adding surveillance cameras to some of their properties and ramping up parking garage security.
Schor: .. taking a look at the time that the access time that we have the gates open for our tenants, and then for our visitors. You know, extra security rounds and so forth for those visitors parking spaces.
Schor says they're adding "signs" to hallways and other prominent areas advising of camera surveillance and on-site security.
