Dallas, TX –

Voters in Fort Worth will choose their city council May 9. Sal Espino and Joel Burns drew no opponents, but the remaining 6-district seats are contested, as is the race for mayor. Incumbent Mike Moncrief has 2- challengers: former council member Clyde Picht and Louis McBee. McBee lost to Moncrief 2-years ago. And Fort worth Star-Telegram columnist Bud Kennedy told KERA's Sam Baker the major issue since then has been gas drilling in the Barnett Shale.
