Dallas, TX – American Eagle will stop service at Dallas Love Field June 11th. KERA's BJ Austin reports.

Andrea Huguely, with American, says there are two reasons for the suspended service: the sluggish economy and anticipated difficulties during construction of a new Love Field Terminal.

Huguely: We have ever intention of returning to Love Field when the terminal is completed. We expect the construction to be completed sometime in 2013.

American Eagle currently has six daily, round trips to Chicago out of Love Field. There are still 18 daily American flights to Chicago O'Hare out of DFW Airport.
