Austin, TX – Republican Representative Joe Straus has released the names of 85 House Members who he claims will vote for him a Speaker. That would be more than enough votes to unseat sitting House Speaker Tom Craddick. Craddick is meeting with supporters at an Austin restaurant and will make a statement tonight.
The names of House Representatives Straus identifies as his supporters are as follows. Please note that KERA has NOT contacted the individual representatives.
