Dallas, TX – Fort Worth attorney Deeia Beck, an employment law specialist, has been appointed to the office of Public Insurance Counsel by Governor Rick Perry.
The office represents insurance buyers who get involved in regulatory matters involving rates, rules and insurance forms.
The term expires after a little more than half a year, next February.
Beck's an administrative law judge for the Texas Department of Insurance Workers Compensation Division, and belongs to the Tarrant County and Texas State Bar. She volunteers for several community groups.
