Austin, TX – Judlyne Lilly: Since the fire, even approaching the Governor's mansion is difficult. This officer told me reporters and the general public were definitely not allowed beyond the yellow tape encircling the building that's just across the street from the Capitol. That didn't stop curiosity seekers from getting as close as possible. Dunk Fulton was visiting from Dallas.
Dunk Fulton from Dallas: It upsets me, it's an historic building.
Lilly: Earlier in the day an angry and visibly upset Gov. Rick Perry vowed to find the arsonist.
Governor Perry: We will find the person and we will also find out how the person got on the grounds.
Lilly: Another visitor to the site today was Tucker Gibson of San Antonio. He had a very special interest in seeing the damage.
The Governor says he doesn't know yet how much it's going to cost to repair the building but doesn't feel legislators will balk at the price. There was a 10 million dollars renovation underway beore the fire. Judlyne Lilly, KERA News, Austin.
