Dallas, TX – So Democratic party chairman Boyd Richie has named State Senator Royce West of Dallas to lead a group that will consider whether to continue current caucusing which selects delegates in addition to those chosen by voters.
Richie: I'm torn both ways because it would make it much easier from an administrative point of view if we just had a primary and allocated delgates based on the primary results. Others and myself included thought it was a tremendous way to do party building. We did get overwhelmed by the numbers.
Richie says convention delegates may chose to change the rules. During the next two days they'll also select delegates to send to the national democratic convention and attempt to heal hard feelings between Obama and Clinton supporters.
