Organizers with Sesame Worskshop, the nonprofit behind Sesame Street, say the taping plan is to capture what kids love about North Texas, along with visits to local landmarks and community organizations in the Dallas area.
The Dallas stop is part of the program's summertime 10-city road trip, where Sesame Street will also be celebrating and filming scenes to include in the 50th season premiere: New York City, Washington, D.C., Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, Seattle and Los Angeles.
