Top Stories: New Drama Puts Immigration On Stage; Ted Cruz And Carly Fiorina Join Forces

The top local stories this afternoon from KERA News: The Supreme Court is weighing Texas’ challenge to part of President Obama’s immigration policy known as ‘Deferred Action.’ A drama called ‘Deferred Action’ premieres this weekend in Dallas, and it couldn’t be more timely.

Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz this afternoon tapped former technology executive Carly Fiorina to run as his would-be running mate. 

Other stories this afternoon: 

  • Towns to the north of Dallas-Fort Worth were hit hardest by Tueday's severe storms. The National Weather Service confirms that three tornadoes hit Grayson County after meteorologists surveyed the damage. 
  • A tiger captured after being spotted roaming a residential neighborhood in a Southeast Texas city has been sent to an animal sanctuary in North Texas.
  • Jonathon Jarvis,  director of the National Park Service joined Krys Boyd on 'Think.'
