Top Stories: GOP Presidential Talk In Tarrant County; Dallas Spring Could Be Preserved

The top stories this afternoon from KERA News: Dallas officials took a big step toward preservation of something unusual, not an old building. A natural spring.

The Dallas Landmark Commission voted Monday afternoon to give Big Spring historic designation. The spring is in the Great Trinity Forest, a few minutes south of downtown Dallas – and a whole lot of people don’t know about it.

Before the political circus comes to the state one month from today, the Texas primary is part of the March 1 “Super Tuesday” lineup.

KERA talked to Republicans in Tarrant County over the weekend about how they’re feeling.
