Nothing says end of summer like back-to-school immunizations. And while school's not in session yet, the time is right to think about whether your kid needs any booster shots to go along with that new backpack. We've rounded up some resources to help you out.

Dallas: There are several walk-in clinics (Carrollton/Farmers Branch, Irving Branch, John West Branch, Oak Cliff Branch and North Dallas Branch) generally open weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Go to www.dallascounty.org or call 214-819-1903 for more information.
DeSoto: DeSoto’s Back to School Fair will be held at the DeSoto High School Academy Cafeteria on Saturday August 10 starting at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fair is only open to the students of DeSoto I.S.D. All parents must have their children pre-registered on August 5 and 6 at DeSoto I.S.D.
Frisco: A children’s vaccination clinic will be held on Tuesday, August 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Student Opportunity Center, 6928 Maple Street.
Fort Worth: Tarrant County Public Health provides immunizations at all of their Public Health Centers. Most Public Health Centers are open from 8:00-5:00, Monday-Friday. See the list here.
Mesquite: The City of Mesquite Public Health Clinic is currently offering immunizations needed for students to be enrolled in Mesquite Independent School District and has extended its normal days of operation to August 16 - August 27.
