Here Are Some Travel Tips For The Holidays

Dallas, TX – Bill Zeeble,KERA reporter: The Transportation Security administration allows air passengers liquid carry-on items like mouthwash and toothpaste, but in sizes no larger than 3 ounces, & all put in a single, 1-qrt, clear, plastic bag. The TSA also disallows wrapped gifts, for inspection purposes. So no gift wrapping of items carried on. DFWAirport's David Magana suggests domestic passengers arrive 90 minutes before their flight, 2 hours before international trips. He says if the lowest priced lots are full, the airport's offering free upgrades.

D. Magana: If you arrive at remote or express lot and it's full, we'll give you 153 a coupon that'll gtive you that level priceing in terminal lot. We expect overflow, but you won't lose availability.

Zeeble: Magana says the nation's 3rd busiest airport recently installed additional power outlets for free wired internet use, and has won national awards for customer comforts like that. He says, there'll also be free entertainment in terminals over the holidays, and extra airport staff available to answer questions.
