Garcia Disputes Miller in Mayoral Debate

By Bill Zeeble, KERA 90.1 Reporter

Dallas, TX – Bill Zeeble, KERA 90.1 Reporter: In another live radio debate, the three leading candidates discussed everything from South Dallas development to the city's form of government. Whenever he could, Garcia mildly attacked Miller, whether she urged a slower growth of Love Field or emphasized city resources for education before putting those resources toward another Olympic bid.

Domingo Garcia, Dallas Mayoral Candidate: There Laura goes again: you can't do something. Yes, I support repeal of the Wright Amendment. I don't know where Laura gets using city dollars for schools and school systems. I think she's mixing apples and oranges. Again, she's saying you can't do something.

Zeeble: Miller has been considered the candidate to beat, though all say they'll win. For KERA 90.1, I'm Bill Zeeble.
