Mariam Muhanna and her family.

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom:

The story of Richardson native Mariam Muhanna, who fell in love with a man from Gaza City. Last month, she traveled there to marry him. A week after their wedding, bombs destroyed parts of the city, killing four of her relatives. And a different look at John Wiley Price from a colleague and close friend.

You can listen to the segment weekdays at 6:20 p.m. and 8:20 a.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
