White House Shooting

Police and Secret Service agents today wounded and disarmed a 47-year-old Indiana man who reportedly brandished a gun outside the gates of the White House. Robert Pickett of Evansville, Indiana, was taken into custody and treated for a gunshot wound to the thigh at nearby George Washington University hospital. NPR's Pam Fessler has more from the White House.
