Sophomore UNT Student Benjamin Wilcox spent three weeks creating a website in his backyard that helps students make their degree plans. His website helps students and advisors know if a class is likely to be available during a semester.

The law requires school districts to automatically enroll fifth graders with high state standardized math test scores in advanced math in middle school. The measure had bipartisan support and sailed through the Texas Legislature.
