  • Sangita Menon is a general assignment reporter for KUT. Before switching over to journalism in 2017, she was a circuit designer for a high-tech company in Austin. She has a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UCLA. Sangita was born in India, grew up in California, lived in Oregon and finally made her way to Texas in 2007. She lives in Austin with her husband and two daughters.
  • Jerrod Knight graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce in May of 2005, ready to take on numerous roles at prominent radio organizations, which have included Susquehanna-Pfaltzgraff (now Cumulus,) Omni Communications Corporation, and The Ranch Radio Network. With experience on-the-air, and in every position behind-the-scenes, Knight rejoined KETR in December 2008 as director of programming.
  • Bri Kirkham comes to San Antonio after living most of her life in southern Indiana. She graduated from Ball State University with degrees in journalism and telecommunications.
  • Jerry Quijano is a producer and host. A native south Texan, he joined the KUT staff after graduating from Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Jerry was part of NPR’s Next Generation initiative at KUT in 2017. When he’s not in the studio, Jerry enjoys collecting vinyl records.
  • Mikaela Lefrak is WAMU’s Arts and Culture reporter. Before moving into that role, she worked as WAMU’s news producer for Morning Edition.
