Nicole Osei

Nicole Osei is excited to be back in the on the Dallas airwaves at KERA News. She got her start at CBS Radio in 2006 and spent the last eight years as the morning-drive news anchor/reporter and host of the award-winning "Impact Texas" show for Cumulus Media in Dallas. While at Cumulus, the Texas Veterans Commission awarded her the "Best Radio Coverage for Veterans Issues in 2023" for her piece on how a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program helps wounded veterans heal. Radio Ink Magazine named her one of the "Future African American Leaders in Radio" in 2023 and 2024.

Nicole is a North Texas native who attended the Richmond American University London in the United Kingdom where she received a bachelor's in political science. She received a master's degree in journalism from the University of North Texas' Mayborn Graduate School.

When Nicole is not an air at KERA News, she enjoys working out, finding new spots to try in DFW, cooking vegan dishes, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
