Former President Donald Trump is on trial for a second time in the Senate. This time, the House has impeached Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Senators on Friday afternoon asked questions of the Democratic House impeachment managers and former President Donald Trump's lawyers, after Trump's defense team rested its case in just a few hours.
Their turn came once House managers ended their two days of arguments on Thursday, alleging that Trump served as "inciter-in-chief" for insurrection on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
