Several North Texas community and religious leaders gathered Saturday for a virtual conversation in light of protests across the country following the killings of black Americans by police officers.

Speakers included Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins; Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall; Friendship-West Baptist Church pastor Freddy Haynes; Omar Suleiman, an imam and founder of Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research; Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot; State Rep. Lorraine Birabil; and Michael Waters, senior pastor of Joy Tabernacle African Methodist Episcopal Church.
