DISD Providing Thanksgiving Break Meals To Students

Sam Tasby Middle School
Dallas ISD
Sam Tasby Middle School is one of the 24 DISD campuses offering free breakfast and lunch to students during the Thanksgiving break.

Class might be out this week, but students in the Dallas Independent School District can eat breakfast and lunch at school. This year, 24 campuses across the district are open for Thanksgiving Break meals.

To make sure students still have access to healthy food when class isn't in session, all DISD students are welcome to eat a morning snack and nutritious lunch at a school near them on Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can find a complete list here.

The morning snack is available from 9 to 9:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

These meals are free to all students through age 18. Students who turned 19 during the current school year are also welcome to attend. Students with disabilities of any age are included also.
