The top local stories this morning from KERA News: Authorities say two Dallas police officers are in critical condition after they were shot while trying to remove a man from a Home Depot in Northeast Dallas Tuesday.

Officers Crystal Almeida and Rogelio Santander are three-year veterans of the force. A Home Depot employee — also shot Tuesday — is in critical condition.

Suspect Armando Juarez faces two assault charges and two previous felony theft warrants.
