Retail gasoline prices across Texas and nationwide have jumped 8 cents per gallon this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump statewide was $2.31 per gallon. U.S. retail gasoline prices reached an average $2.49 per gallon.

The association survey found that drivers in San Antonio have the cheapest gasoline in Texas at $2.20 per gallon. Dallas and Fort Worth have the most expensive gasoline, at $2.39 per gallon.

AAA says domestic crude oil prices reached the highest level of 2015 last week as supplies built more slowly than anticipated. Analysts say global oil prices continue to reflect volatility.
