Dallas – As voters in Iowa, New Hampshire and around the country are casting early Presidential ballots, Texans are also weighing in- with their voices and the wallets.

I'm KERA's Shelley Kofler with Texas and the Presidential Election - A Voters Voice Special During this half hour we'll explore our ties to the biggest presidential contest in decades . We'll talk to North Texan's whose fundraising has a big effect on the process.. and I'll be joined in the studio by SMU Political Science Professor Cal Jillson and Dallas Morning News Editorial Writer Bill McKenzie.

*KERA's Shelley Kofler interviews Republican Candidate Rudolph Guiliani's National Campaign Finance Chairman Roy Bailey. Bailey is a Dallas resident. Giuliani has collected more campaign money in Texas than any other candidate. Democrat Hillary Clinton ranks second for campaign contributions from Texas. Kofler interviews Jess Hay, one of her fundraisers. Mr. Hay is the retired chairman of the Lomas Financial Group.
