Dallas, TX – Outcomes in the relatively small states of Iowa and New Hampshire have driven the political primary dramas so far. But independent-minded Kristine Coffey remains uninfluenced.

Coffey: As an individual you need make that on your own decision how you vote. You need to vote what your heart and head feels and not what someone else does.

Zeeble: Todd Salters wants a leader who can truly unite what he calls the bickering Democrats and Republicans.

Salters: Because then I think all the other things can be taken care of.

Many Dallasites KERA talked to worried most about the economy. The war in Iraq was another major issue . Bill Zeeble KERA news.
