DFW, Tx – What had been a few months of warnings to anyone captured on camera running a red light will now get a fine or worse, beginning January 1st. In November, cameras installed at 7 intersections started photographing cars running red lights in Fort Worth. Registered owners of those vehicles received warnings. Now, red-light runners will get a 75 dollar fine per incident, plus another 25 dollar late fee if there's no payment made within 30 days. Fort Worth will put cameras at 2 additional intersections once the state's department of transportation grants approval. Bill Zeeble KERA news.
