Dallas, TX – Brian Potashnik's alleged payments to various government officials are driving this case. Prosecutors say paid the rent and utilities of Legislator Terri Hodge, and funneled funds to former Dallas city council man Don Hill, & others. In exchange, prosecutors say those officials helped Potashnik secure millions in low income tax credits & government housing. Funds. Potashnik, with his wife and father with him, denied it all, in the court house.

Brian Potashnik: This is the saddest day of my life and the life of my family. We've improved the lives of over 10 thousand residents of this community. This isn't justice. We will be vindicated.

Zeeble: The Potashniks' attorney, Abbe Lowell, said the government makes mistakes all the time. This is just the latest. Bill Zeeble KERA news.
