Dallas, TX – On the first day of jury selection, potential jurors were asked questions about what they knew of this case, and whether they can be fair and impartial deciding it based on evidence. The government alleges leaders of the Holy Land Foundation funneled money to Palestinian non-profit groups controlled by the terrorist organization Hamas. That amounts to lending material support to a group that backs suicide bombings. Defendants deny all charges, saying they're a legitimate charity being targeted because they are Muslims. 90.1's Bill Zeeble spoke with KERA's News Director Shelley Kofler.
