Dallas Theater Center Names New Director

Dallas, TX – Compact and energized, Moriarty told reporters he'll eagerly embrace the job directing the new Dee and Charles Wyly Theater Center, which is now under construction in the downtown Dallas arts district. He said theater's not just entertainment, but an essential part of society.

Moriarty: Theater has the power and potential to serve as the public square, as the space in a Democracy where all the citizens come together to tell shared stories, to celebrate our common values.

Zeeble: Moriarty's the 5th director in the Center's nearly 50 year history. His job officially starts in September. For KERA 90.1 I'm Bill Zeeble
