Dallas, TX –
Growing up in Skokie, Illinois, Howard Reich used to think every family feuded like his Jewish relatives and every mother ws like his - an insomniac who drank coffee all night. But in 2002, when Sonia Reich was diagnosed with late onset Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, it forced Howard Reich to confront the damage done to his family during the Holocaust. A jazz and arts critic for the Chicago Tribune, Reich will be in Fort Worth April 15 at Temple Beth-El to talk about his book detailing the journey, The First and Final Nightmare of Sonia Reich. He told Marla Crockett it's a story he did not intend to tell.
