Developers of a new Omni hotel in downtown Fort Worth announced the addition of condominiums to the project. The W Hotel in Dallas' Victory Plaza will include the same. In fact, Dallas has been a strong market for luxury high rise projects - especially in the Uptown area. Still, 4-projects have been canceled or put on hold this year and last. Jeff Updike is Vice President of Virginia Cook Realtors and manages its Uptown office. He sees the cancellations as a correction to the market.
