Sam Thompson runs 49th marathon in 48 days

Dallas, TX –

Sam Thompson ran the White Rock Marathon route in Dallas today, and by Saturday will have run 51 marathons in 50 days in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. He's doing it to raise awareness and money for the Gulf Coast, which is still hurting from Hurricane Katrina almost a year ago. 90.1's Catherine Cuellar spoke to Thompson and his supporters as he closed in on a new record.
