Congress Takes Up Wright Compromise

Dallas, TX –

A congressional subcommittee today began considering the deal to end flight restrictions at Dallas Love Field. The deal, negotiated by Dallas Mayor Laura Miller and Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief, eliminates the Wright Amendment in eight years. Both mayors testified on Capitol Hill, but support from local members of Congress was mixed. 90.1's Marla Crockett spoke with Capitol News Connection's Terry Gildea.
