Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle has been in that position two years as of this month. That anniversary's probably been overshadowed by his firing of 9-officers within a week's time for various acts of misconduct. Some media reports have described the terminations as a "housecleaning". Kunkle told 90.1's Sam Baker he doesn't agree with that word, but some steps needed to be taken and he explained why he described the decision to do so as "gut-wrenching".
