Dallas, TX –

The media landscape changes so rapidly now, it's hard to imagine any part of it lasting very long. But the Fort Worth Star-Telegram celebrates a milestone today. The paper turns 100-years old today, or technically, the "Star" part does. Executive editor Jim Witt tells 90.1's Sam Baker he's not sure if the paper came before or after the "Telegram", but it soon became clear to founder Amon Carter his "Star" was not long for this world on its own.
