TCU Renames Journalism School for CBS News Anchor Bob Schieffer
Dallas, TX –
Texas Christian University celebrated its new Schieffer School of Journalism Tuesday with all-day events featuring CBS newsman and now interim evening news anchor, Bob Schieffer. A seminar with some of the nation's leading news people tackled several topics, including how the American press has handled the war in Iraq. Schieffer moderated. Participants included PBS's Jim Lehrer, reporter and author Bob Woodward, NBC's Tom Brokaw, and columnist Tom Friedman. 90.1's Bill Zeeble reports.
