Austin, TX – The Senate Jurisprudence Committee Thursday adopted a motion by Sen. Mario Gallegos that would prevent the committee from voting on a congressional redistricting plan before noon Tuesday, July 15. Gallegos urged that deadline so committee members will have adequate time to review testimony and other information.
