PHOTOS: Army Veteran Had No Known Family, So Crowd Came Out For Funeral In Killeen

Army Spc. Hugh Gary Bryan was buried Wednesday with full military honors at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

 

Because he had no known next of kin, he was declared an “unaccompanied veteran.” The Texas General Land Office urged the public to attend his service, “ensuring no veteran is ever left behind.”

 

Folks did. 

 

The Army veteran had no known next of kin so the public was invited to the funeral.
