Kids who beat cancer don’t escape unscathed. They’re at higher risk for secondary cancers later in life and the treatments they receive as kids can affect growth, fertility, even learning. Then there’s the lingering fear of remission.

And as arts festivals and special events kick off in Dallas this month, the city is up for some major funding to keep arts innovation humming along.
