In Fort Worth, the latest count shows the number of homeless military veterans has declined by a third. The Presbyterian Night Shelter held its annual fundraising breakfast Tuesday.

And a new crop of urban farmers in Dallas could find space to set down roots after Wednesday’s City Council meeting.
