A sure sign that the holiday season is coming: The Neiman Marcus Christmas Book has arrived. On Tuesday, the Dallas-based luxury retailer revealed the expensive goodies that you can purchase for your sweetie (or just get them for yourself).
How about a Maserati?
This year’s featured car is the 100th anniversary Neiman Marcus Limited-Edition Maserati Ghibli S Q4. It’s a steal at $95,000.
The Neiman Marcus folks sure now how to describe it: “Like the North African wind for which it’s named, the Ghibli is undeniably hot and powerful. Sensuous curved lines punctuated with an aggressive grill and bold triple vents perfectly illustrate the car’s unique marriage of elegance and sports car verve.”
You’ll go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

It’s a jet ski. It’s an ATV. It’s both.
Then there’s the “His & Hers” fantasy gift -- the Vilebrequin Quadski.
"Hailed as the world’s best high-speed amphibians, they convert from water cruisers to land lovers in just under five seconds. Contrary to the Vilebrequin turtle print, your Quadski quickly accelerates up to 45 mph on land or water, thanks to its 1300cc BMW engine."
It’s yours for $50,000 – each.

A super fancy cocktail machine
Neiman Marcus is calling it "the world’s coolest cocktail-making machine." It's been recreated from a 19th-century drawing -- it's a 6-foot-tall Imperial Shaker, featuring cast iron, brass, copper, and silver materials. You'll get a one-year supply of Tanqueray No. Ten and a personal cocktail education session for up to 20 guests with a Tanqueray mixology expert.
The machine better serve up some good drinks -- because it's $35,000.
A new twist on Mardi Gras
Head to New Orleans in February with five of your favorite couples. You’ll stay in the French Quarter at the Audubon Cottages. You’ll dine at a jazz brunch at Commander’s Palace; you’ll have dinner at Arnaud’s and you’ll dine at Gautreau’s. You’ll get behind-the-scenes tours of local art galleries and attend a private concert and dinner at Preservation Hall. In addition, a $10,000 gift will be given to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Foundation. The entire trip is $125,000.
There’s also a $65,000 Preston Bailey large outdoor garden peacock – a 6-foot-tall piece with a 10-foot-long tail made of silk flowers and seasonal plantings. And a smaller version that’s $25,000.
Or select linens for every room in your house with the Leontine Linens Home Trousseau. It’s yours for $55,000.
