The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom

This week is banned books week, when the American Library Association calls attention to the freedom we have to read what we want. An exhibition at the Dallas Holocaust Museum reminds us that freedom hasn’t always existed in the world. And grab your appetite and the Tums, first thing Friday, the State Fair is on.

You can listen to the top local news stories weekdays at 6:20 p.m. and 8:20 a.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
