From the Newsroom: An Army Of Volunteers, The View From Honduras

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom:

Philanthropic North Texans are coming together to serve the 2,000 immigrant kids heading this way. And Alfredo Corchado of the Dallas Morning News went to Honduras to find out what drives a parent to pay a fortune to send a child on a dangerous thousand-mile journey that might end in failure.

You can listen to the segment weekdays at 6:20 p.m. and 8:20 a.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
