From the Newsroom: Remembering Ruby Dee, Day 2 Of Courting the RNC

In today's All Things Considered local block from the KERA Newsroom: 

The actress and civil rights activist Ruby Dee died today at the age of 91. The legend of stage and screen formed a long-lasting friendship with an impressionable producer in Dallas. 

And committee members scoping out Dallas as a potential site for the 2016 Republican National Convention tour the American Airlines Center.
