Iraqi Transformation Blueprint Makes the Rounds

A document circulating in Washington describes the U.S. government's vision of an Iraqi free market, with privatized industry, a modernized stock exchange and a new tax code. The responsibility for much of this transformation would go to American contractors. NPR's Robert Siegel talks to Wall Street Journal reporter Neil King Jr.

With 40 years of experience working in radio news, Siegel hosted the country's most-listened-to, afternoon-drive-time news radio program and reported on stories and happenings all over the globe, and reported from a variety of locations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.
