California Smoking Study

NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports on California's statewide efforts to cut back tobacco use. She looks at the payoff from educational programs, laws that prohibit smoking in public places and other efforts by the state. One recent study found that lung cancer rates are lower in California as a result of these initiatives.
