More than fifty years after the end of World War II, thousands of veterans are returning to high school to receive their diplomas. They had to abandon their education to fight in the war. Kansas is joining seven other states in awarding honorary diplomas to war veterans. Andrew Mahoney from High Plains Public Radio reports.
