Brain Cell Discovery

The ethically disputed practice of restoring damaged brain cells by using fetal nerve cells could soon become obsolete. New research indicates bone marrow cells may cause the same brain cell regeneration produced by fetal cells. This could bring new hope to victims of diseases that affect the nervous system, such as Huntington's Disease. NPR's Joe Palca reports.
