Adventure writer TIM CAHILL

2: Adventure writer TIM CAHILL. CAHILL writes in a self-deprecating way about his death-defying experiences around the world. His accounts of adventures in caves, mountains, deserts, and rapids appear in his collections, "A Wolverine is Eating My Leg,"and "Jaguars Ripped My Flesh." He's also a columnist for "Outside Magazine." Last summer, CAHILL traveled to the North Pole on an old Soviet Ice-breaker, and currently he is working on a book describing his travels in the unexplored and uninhabited Ndoke Forest of the northern Congo. His work includes "The Great Railway Bazaar," "The Old Patagonian Express," and "The Kingdom By The Sea." He's also a novelist, perhaps best known for "The Mosquito Coast," which became a film starring Harrison Ford.
